We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our AR SEA Team as a TFP supporting the regional work and driving initiatives in the region. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple divisions, geographies and functions. The role will be a great stepping stone to progress in a Finance career as it provides great insight into the company's structure and leadership objectives.

JD - AR Accountant

Position Summary:

Being part of Southeast Asia Accounting Shared Services Team, you will be reporting to the Accounts Receivable (AR) Supervisor, responsible for billing & cash applications for SEA customers, supporting strategic credit control and collection framework, providing effective credit risk management and driving collections performance. You will have exposure to management finance matrix including DSO, cash flow etc. You will also have opportunity to play a key role in process improvement and automation projects.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Perform timely cash receipting for SEA customers including month-end, quarterly and year-end closings
  • Support customer billings through customer e-portals such as vendors.gov
  • Participate in AR internal reviews with Collections team
  • Participate in various finance projects and initiatives to drive process and productivity improvements
  • Weekly cash flow update
  • Collaboration with various stakeholders such as external Customers and internal Commercial and Customer Service teams to resolve issues with invoicing
  • Perform Accounts Receivables duties in line with the company’s credit policies and procedures
  • Perform periodic review and credit limits on customer accounts
  • Ensure orders are managed and released timely in accordance to guidelines
  • Work cross-functionally with FP&A, Commercial and Customer Services teams to resolve any outstanding discrepancies on AR
  • Compile and maintain accurate and complete accounts receivable records in Cforia system to include contacts, status of past due, and any disputes identified
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Accounting or Finance qualification (Degree or equivalent)
  • 2-3 years AR or Billing experience, preferably from multinational companies and with experience leading a team
  • An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills in English.
  • Possess effective problem-solving skills and able to multitask efficiently
  • Highly organized and independent with proven ability to deliver results, ensuring compliance to accounting standards and internal controls
  • Has high level of integrity. Able to set goals and deliver under tight timelines
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), preferably with ERP experience
