As a Pharma Services Delivery IT Regional Lead you will be responsible for the Information Technology Support function for the Region of Eastern Asia Pacific (EAPAC). You will contribute as a leader in the IT Service Delivery Leadership Team to development talent within the team and serve as a trusted technical advisor to business partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the EAPAC regional IT Service Delivery Team to drive reliable application support, serve as a skilled technology leader, and ensure Quality.
  • Serve as principle technology leader for Regional Service Issues and Requests and mentor local technology teams to improve IT service provided to business colleagues.
  • Develop strong partnerships with global teams to deliver best in class service for the local partners.
  • Collaborate with business colleagues to explore new technologies such as AI, automation, and robotics to accelerate productivity.
  • Collaborate as a member of the PSG IT Service Delivery Leadership Team to develop digital support processes globally to meet business needs.
  • Accelerate innovation through use of ITIL and Practical Process Improvement methodologies (such as Six Sigma, Lean, PPI etc).
  • Collaborate with Global Technology and Digital teams to implement advanced, scalable solutions.
  • Understand and guide use of the company’s system architecture standards and policies to ensure security, quality, and digital innovation.
  • Lead a diverse and multi-cultural team to hire, train, and mentor talent that can enrich our digital and technology landscape.
  • Own regional IT budgets, schedules, and talent utilization for regional technology delivery.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience developing a team of IT professionals in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Previous experience in recruiting top talent and developing successful teams.
  • Experience in leading a multi-lingual and multi-cultural technology focused team.
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment with strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Computers Systems Validation (CSV) is required.
  • Previous pharmaceutical experience with digital environments desired.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Broad knowledge of application software, digital support and IT security in a pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability managing teams in a complex and diverse corporate environment to creatively solve problems and prioritize work
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment to mentor teams and resolve issues.
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
