The primary objective of this study was to evaluate the long-term safety of pomaglumetad methionil (LY2140023) in patients with schizophrenia by monitoring extrapyramidal symptoms (EPS), as evaluated by the Barnes Akathisia Scale (BAS), the Simpson-Angus Scale (SAS), and the Abnormal Involuntary Movement Scale (AIMS); weight; prolactin; and the following metabolic parameters: fasting glucose, total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL), high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, and total triglycerides.

- -参加者は統合失調症と臨床的に診断されています
- 出産の可能性のある女性参加者は、研究登録時に妊娠検査で陰性であり、単一の効果的で医学的に許容される避妊法を使用することに同意する必要があります
- 新しい参加者は、現在の臨床精神医学的状態および/または外来患者としての治療の忍容性によって示されるように、現在の抗精神病薬治療の開始または変更を必要とする必要があります。 基準は、フィーダー研究からロールオーバーする参加者には適用されません (NCT01328093 および NCT01452919)

Participants entering the study will be flexibly dosed between 20 milligrams (mg), 40 mg, or 80 mg twice daily.
