Descrição

Critério de inclusão:

  • Diagnóstico de NSCLC Estágio IIIB não passível de tratamento curativo ou Estágio IV.
  • Sem quimioterapia prévia para câncer de pulmão.
  • Os pacientes devem ter pelo menos uma lesão mensurável unidimensionalmente.
  • Radioterapia prévia para menos de 25% da medula óssea, pelve inteira não permitida. A radiação deve ser concluída pelo menos 4 semanas antes da inscrição no estudo.

Critério de exclusão:

  • Tratamento com qualquer medicamento nos últimos 30 dias que não tenha recebido aprovação regulatória.
  • Condição cardíaca grave.
  • Distúrbio médico grave além do NSCLC que tornaria difícil para o paciente concluir o estudo.
  • Incapacidade ou falta de vontade de tomar ácido fólico ou suplementação de vitamina B12.
  • Presença de retenção de líquidos que não pode ser controlada pela drenagem.
