Cytogenetiske undersøgelser i akut leukæmi og myelomatose

Cytogenetiske undersøgelser i akut leukæmi og multipelt myelom: ledsager til CALGB-behandlingsundersøgelser for tidligere ubehandlede patienter med akut myeloid leukæmi (AML), akut lymfoblastisk leukæmi (ALL), myelodysplastisk syndrom (MDS) eller multipelt myelom (MM)
Kromosomanalyse eller undersøgelse af genetiske forskelle hos patienter, der tidligere ikke har været behandlet med AML, ALL, MDS eller MM, kan være nyttige ved diagnosticering og klassificering af sygdom.
Det kan også forbedre evnen til at forudsige sygdomsforløbet og valg af terapi.
Institutioner skal enten have en Alliance-godkendt cytogenetiker eller en aftale fra et Alliance-godkendt cytogenetiklaboratorium, der er godkendt af Alliancen, for at tilmelde en patient på CALGB 8461.
