Cytogenetische studies bij acute leukemie en multipel myeloom

Cytogenetische onderzoeken bij acute leukemie en multipel myeloom: aanvulling op CALGB-behandelingsonderzoeken voor niet eerder behandelde patiënten met acute myeloïde leukemie (AML), acute lymfoblastische leukemie (ALL), myelodysplastisch syndroom (MDS) of multipel myeloom (MM)
Chromosomale analyse of de studie van genetische verschillen bij patiënten die niet eerder zijn behandeld met AML, ALL, MDS of MM kan nuttig zijn bij de diagnose en classificatie van ziekten.
Het kan ook het vermogen verbeteren om het verloop van de ziekte en de selectie van therapie te voorspellen.
Instellingen moeten een door de Alliantie goedgekeurde cytogeneticus of een overeenkomst van een door de Alliantie goedgekeurd laboratorium voor cytogenetica hebben om een patiënt in te schrijven op CALGB 8461.
De Alliance Approved Institutional Cytogeneticists-lijst staat op de Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology-website.

Patiëntenpopulatie uit de onderzoeksgemeenschap voor klinische oncologie, waaronder academische instellingen, ziekenhuizen en klinieken.
Beschrijving
- Patiënten van adjuncten komen in aanmerking als het laboratorium van het Hoofdlid Cytogenetica ermee heeft ingestemd om monsters van die adjunct te verwerken.
- Meld u binnen een maand na registratie op CALGB 8461 aan voor een CALGB-behandelingsonderzoek voor niet eerder behandelde AML-, ALL-, MDS- of MM-patiënten.
- Gelijktijdig met registratie op CALGB 8461, patiënten binnen de continentale Verenigde Staten registreren op CALGB 9665 (LTB).
