Senior Biomarker Sample Operations Associate

Parexel is looking for a Senior Biomarker Sample Operation Associate to operationally deliver on client projects by working closely with client teams to ensure timely and smooth collection and transfer of clinical trial biospecimens in compliance with protocols, regulatory requirements, and project timelines. This role will contribute to innovation and continuous improvement with client activities in biospecimen collection, processing, and transfers.

***This is an in-office position based in either Chicago, IL or San Francisco, CA***

Skills:

• Client-focused approach to work
• Advanced skills in Excel
• Proficiency or working knowledge of LIMS (laboratory information management system)
• Expertise in MS Office applications including Word and PowerPoint
• Data management experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Organization and attention to detail
• Effective time management skills with an ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
• Critical thinking skills
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-based environment and work independently when needed

Knowledge and Experience:

• Scientific background and knowledge of life sciences
• Project management, life science and/or clinical trial experience
• Sample handling experience

Education:

• Master’s Degree and 1+ year experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of experience
