Senior Financial Systems Analyst, anywhere in UK

Purpose

We are looking for a suitable candidate for the position: Senior Financial Systems Analyst, to join our Finance Process Management team

Responsibilities

o Work with Production Support and Business Analysts to resolve VAT and P2P related queries, requests and issues within ERP systems.

o Support VAT team with VAT Month End closing and Reporting.

o Support AP/EXP/VAT/BI team colleagues with queries and requests in multiple ERP systems.

o Research issues, following process and services.

o Support various project implementations (e.g. new ERP system, Rollout of existing application to new business, UAT testing)

Requirements

o Excellent Knowledge of Vat Legislation

o Knowledge of financial systems. Oracle, SAP, Coupa, PeopleSoft and Alteryx knowledge would be an advantage

o Accounting background preferably within Finance Shared Service

o Strong Reporting and Analytical skills

o Strong Excel knowledge

o Fluent English knowledge - Good Oral & Written

o Ability to work independently in dynamic, fast-paced environment

o Solution oriented

o Ability to handle cross-functional tasks in parallel

o Willingness and ability to speak up and challenge status-quo

o Collaborate with Finance teams and other functions to suggest and drive implementation of Improvements and Automation initiatives
