IT Standards Lead

As you will ensure the execution of Data Transformation, Analytics &AI (DTA&AI) technical processes, systems, and projects with the applicable policies and operating procedures. For example, engineering policy that complies with GxP requirements where relevant; solution architecture that has achieved TDA approval; environment monitoring that supports ISO27001 & HiTrust requirements.

You will develop a program to deliver alignment and accreditation to external standards expected by clients to benefit client engagements (e.g. ISO 27001, HiTrust, HIPAA) and oversee a framework to ensure ongoing adherence and maintenance.In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for aligning DTA&AI engineering & IT security policies, standards, and controls management processes to the necessary corporate, regulatory or legal standards
  • Engage with the business to identify client expectations & requirements against external standards to build a prioritised pipeline of activity to support current and future opportunities
  • Assist BD groups with responses to RFI/RFP IT standards related questions or audits from potential clients by standardising the approach & building and maintaining a reusable reference repository for DTA&AI.
  • Develop IT standards report templates to management or external bodies as applicable.
  • Collaborate with corporate privacy, legal, QMS and enterprise Information Security teams to align to and leverage IQVIA wide programs where possible
  • Influence decisions which are usually more project and operationally oriented and explain policies, standards, practices, and procedures of the job area/department to others within the organization
  • Manage and oversee IT Standards related activities for acquisitions and integrations
  • Contribute to team-based work or independent tasks, always looking to learn more and take initiative on multiple projects and tasks

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with substantial experience in Program Management, IT standards OrEquivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Knowledge of various recognised information security governance and control standards, frameworks, regulations and laws such as NIST, HITRUST, HIPAA, ISO 27001, SOC and GDPR is desired
  • Solid understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in which the company operate
  • Practical knowledge in leading and coordinating the execution of process, projects and tactics within an area is desired along with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a large program
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation skills at every level including executives is required
  • Strong business acumen and solid understanding of pharmaceutical industry and drug development process
  • Ability to effectively interact with company leadership
  • Ability to work creatively in a fast-paced environment
