Role Objectives

  • Lead, manage and drive USBU Commercial Operations Account Executive team
  • Build and maintain COAE team and management processes
  • Establish a level credibility and trust with team
  • Identify and create COAE account planning process
  • Coordinate COAE activity across business lines with a focus on integrated solutions

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of COAE team
  • 100% accountable for achievement of COAE account growth target
  • Responsible for overall COAE account management, strategy, training and staffing performance measurement
  • Works with team to identify client engagement strategies
  • Works with VP Sales to drive client engagements and US Sales initiatives
  • Determines BD & sales support resource allocation needs
  • Assists with determining IQVIA priorities at the Client

Deliverables

  • Internal identification of COAE strategic imperatives, long-term /short-term objectives and priorities
  • Mapping of account buying process, client stake holders, decision makers and client budgets/spend
  • Manage the COAE ongoing account plans, win-backs and opportunity / whitespace assessment
  • Ongoing development and reporting of competitor activity and win-back strategy
  • Regular cadence with COAEs and VP Sales
  • Works to identify new applications and approaches to incentive compensation, forecasting and targeting based on IQVIA’s information assets, consulting capabilities and technology services. 
  • Engages COAE’s and commercial operations stakeholders on wining back patient data (LAAD etc.) services to establish IQVIA as patient data platform
  • Works with COAE’s to drive utilization of IQVIA information, commercial and info management services within commercial operations
  • Consults on “fit for purpose” of additional information management strategies, approaches and initiatives

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience.
  • At least five (5) years of experience managing a team
  • Pharma Commercial operations experience or extensive experience selling to Comm Ops
  • Strong industry (pharma/life science) knowledge
  • Strategic solution / consultative selling background (innovative thinker)
  • Experience working with claims data and market research integrated solutions

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $165,500.00 - $281,900.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
