Sr Manager, EHS

Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an EHS and Sustainability Senior Manager. This is a key leadership position that will play a crucial role in driving our organization's commitment to environmental health and safety, as well as sustainability initiatives.

This role with require occasional travel throughout Europe -20%.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement EHS and sustainability strategies, policies, and programs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and drive continuous improvement
• Lead and manage a team of EHS and sustainability professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the successful execution of projects and initiatives
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks, and develop and implement corrective actions to mitigate them
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS and sustainability considerations into business processes, including product design, supply chain management, and operations
• Stay up-to-date with emerging EHS and sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices, and provide recommendations for program enhancements and improvements
• Prepare and present reports to senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and progress towards sustainability goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Sustainability, or related fields
• Senior experience in EHS management, preferably in a leadership role. Experience within the sustainability area is beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations and standards in EU.
• Swedish and English language are required.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing EHS and sustainability programs in a corporate setting
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others towards common goals
• Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
