Job Description

Position Summary: 

Lead engineer team to support business growth through NPI Project, improve material productivity and provide cost effective solution by cross functions cooperation, from R&D, PMO, to Sourcing and supplier.

Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities:

  • Lead team to direct and coordinate all activities pertaining NPI, QSE projects.
  • Lead the multi-discipline team to drive the execution
  • Apply expertise and leadership skills to direct team and work with the suppliers to address technical challenges during projects  
  • Closely collaborate in a global environment together with multidisciplinary teams in China and oversea.
  • Provides ongoing performance management and periodic formal evaluation to direct reports for a high-performance team. Facilitate career movement and development opportunities for the team members.
  • Develops and manages budget with components that include human resources, capital equipment, Intellectual Property and general expenses within established guidelines.
  • Lead team embrace PPI to continuously improve FPY to stabilize production
  • Drive "design respect"culture, manage ECO process to ensure product design compliance   

Educational Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical Engineering, physical engineering, chemical engineering or equivalent with excellent knowledge of development and manufacturing in analytical instruments and or medical device, MSc or PhD is preferred.

Experience and Other Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of industry experience in global analytical instruments and or medical device companies, in which 35 years of experience in leading a team
  • Solid understanding and expertise in analytical and or medical device design and development is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with global and local partners and various internal and external functional areas.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English are requested.
