Within our Analytical Services team, we have a functional service provider solution, which is a unique partnership that allows our customers to use the experience of our staff, while allowing you, the employee, to gain direct experience working onsite at a pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical company, all while maintaining full-time benefits.

This role will work fully on-site with our client in Wavre or Rixensart, Belgium. This is an initial 12 month FTC with possibility for extension.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will support human serology experiments. As a Scientist / Sr Scientist you will be responsible for:

  • Realization of lab experiments defined by the project manager

  • Laboratory manipulations in a GCLP environment (microneutralization assay/ cell culture/ ELISA/qPCR)

  • Perform routine tests in a regulated environment

  • Maintains a laboratory notebook and completes all laboratory documentation in clear and accurate language

  • Reviews, interprets, and analyses data in collaboration with its N+1

Qualifications/Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science – Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or an A2 (CESS) with relevant experience comparable to 10 years.

  • Relevant experience planning and conducting laboratory experiments.

  • Experience with Microbiology/cell culture/ELISA/PCR in a pharmaceutical or associated environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Fluent in French and English languages (oral and writing) is essential

  • Result-oriented, rigorous and structured.
