Do you love data challenges and enjoy creativity? An exciting opening has arisen for a Data Analyst on our Intelligence and Data Services Team!
We are looking for a person to analyze marketing and sales datasets. This person will provide analysis on all data related subjects, from identifying and extracting data, crafting both relational and non-relational databases, and driving an increase in monetization of data products. We need a hands-on analyst who will integrate multiple sophisticated marketing, finance and e-business data sources into easily consumable data structures and generate commercial insights. This role will analyze, design and develop an efficient data framework and will use the architecture to support Marketing, Sales and Data Science project initiatives. Good interpersonal skills and able to present analytical findings to a broad audience of non-executives are key for success!
A day in the Life:- Conduct in-depth promo analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Apply advanced analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving marketing and commercial performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate sales forecasts, enabling prioritization and inventory management.
- Deliver data models and dashboards to visualize findings, recommendations, and deliver actionable insights to our data consumers.
- Perform ad hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making and address business challenges.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
Keys to Success:Education- Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field required. Master's degree considered in lieu of minimum experience required.
Experience- 1+ years experience in commercial analysis, promo analysis, and forecasting strongly preferred.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- 2+ years of knowledge and experience with SQL Queries (various joins, CTEs, Window Functions, and knowledge of recursive queries).
- 1 year of experience pulling data from advertising platforms (Adobe Analytics, Twitter, Facebook, Google Ads) and developing ETL scripts in R and Python
- Proficient skills in manipulating large data sets with SQL and Python and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Able to fix the data issues in dashboarding or reporting tools (Power BI, SalesForce.com, Cognos, etc.) and suggest solutions
- Data Modeling experience for dashboards - Star schema, 3rd Normal form, partitions

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $66,000.00–$88,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
