"• Responsible for managing the personnel, scheduling and profitability of a service line (department) within the Bioanalytical Lab.• Oversee and guide staff performing method development, method validation, routine sample analysis, and project management.• Responsible for improving the operational efficiency of their department.• Responsible for exercising department head authority for staffing, training, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, and terminations in their department. • Responsible to ensure all work done is performed in compliance with SOP's, GLP's, Client and FDA guidelines and requirements.• To ensure appropriate metrics are identified and tracked in the laboratory which provide visibility into the underlying laboratory performance (including capacity, quality and client delivery metrics).• Supports business development in the acquisition of new business from existing and new clients. • Recognize issues and develop resolution(s)."
