Purpose of the function:
- Is responsible for helping grow the IQVIA business by finding new value propositions and developing new offerings to support Sales in creating new sales pipe;
- Is a member of The Management Team;
- Attends the Sales meeting.
Main tasks:
Elaborate strategic planning for long-term growth and revenue
- Acquiring thorough knowledge of the marketplace;
- Performing competitive analysis;
- Leveraging existing value propositions;
- Finding new value propositions and developing new offerings;
- Integrating suggestions from customers and input from Business Advisors in the development roadmap;
- Collaborating with the development and sales teams;
- Collaborating with the marketing department (they are accountable for delivering content for customer communications).
Create and maintain steady revenue stream
- Offering consultancy services (short term);
- Improving of customer added value of existing solutions (short to medium term);
- Developing of new solutions to create new customer added value (long term);
- Reporting on service metrics to the Management Team.
Set up and maintain Strategic Business Consultancy
- Elaborating a business consultancy strategy and practice;
- Setting up and maintaining trusted partner relationships with clients and prospects;
- Creating strategic relationships with partners to extend current IQVIA Healthcare offering.
Manage Internal Stakeholders
- Keeping an open communication with all IQVIA Healthcare teams
Manage and lead their team
- Creating a team of managers;
- Having at least monthly in person coaching moments / touch points with each of the managers;
- Organizing and leading the team meetings of the managers in Operations
- Developing hard and soft skills of the team members;
- Performing evaluation of team members.
Education, experience & skills
- Master or Bachelor with sufficient experience
- Number of years’ experience required
- Five years proven track record in consulting teams preferably in a healthcare or clinical environment
- Mandatory: Dutch, French, English
- Technical skills required to understand and propose the IQVIA’s products or solutions by focusing on client requirements (tech-savvy)
- Good computer skills and the ability to use business support software
- Good resource planning skills
- Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management
- Business acumen
