Job Summary Charles River Labs isseeking a skilled and highly motivated Associate Scientist/Scientist to join our Screening Team. The candidate will participate as a team-player by supporting a variety of projects at every stage by providing kinetic and epitope information for antibody therapeutics. The role will enable our company’s continued growth into client partnered antibody discovery services, as well as the development of internal therapeutic portfolio. Distributed Bio is a computational immunoengineering biotechnology group providing computational tools, antibody libraries, and more to partners across the pharmaceutical industry. Role Responsibilities Run high-throughput kinetic and epitope binning screens on various biosensor platforms Performed high-resolution kinetics and affinity analysis of antibody-antigen binding and other protein interactions QC reagents for downstream application Design and analyze experiments under minimal supervision Present data in written and oral form to internal teams and/or our partnered clients

Job Qualifications

Requirements Bachelors (minimum 5 years) and/or Masters (minimum 0-2 years) degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering or related field Previous hands-on experience with biosensor platforms (Biacore SPR, ForteBio Octet, Carterra LSA, etc.) is preferred Strong analytical and solid math skills are required Ability to perform mathematical calculations and complex data analysis tasks Previous experience with automated laboratory instrumentation is a plus Strong attention to detail and excellent bench skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-oriented environment Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
