OVERVIEW

We are looking for passionate individuals with an interest in healthcare to join our rapidly expanding Global Patient and Site Solutions team. We are particularly interested in those with a Patient Recruitment and a Clinical Operations background.

PURPOSE

• This individual will provide operational leadership for the Patient Recruitment and Site Solutions

• Lead a team of patient recruitment & Site Service professionals focused on improving overall patient recruitment and retention effectiveness for IQVIA’s customers.

• Assist in determining department’s strategic goals and objectives along with other departmental leaders and Global Patient and Site Solutions (GPSS) leadership

• This role will support the achievement of gross new business targets through operational management. 

• Lead strategic initiatives and work with leadership across disciplines to develop implementation plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop, operationalize, and implement best-in-class strategies for customers to meet recruitment goals or increase productivity at lower-performing sites

• Work together with operational team to translate recruitment, retention and site engagement strategies into operational plans to positively impact recruitment and retention rates

• Provide operational leadership oversight for the resourcing process, including hiring, on-boarding and training standards and evaluating existing and future resource alternatives

• Ensure internal processes align with other stakeholder departments to optimize delivery and impact of patient recruitment and retention products, as well as site operational support services

• Ability to balance operational and strategic goals

• Evaluate workload, quality and budget metrics through regular review and reporting of findings

• Co-lead departmental quality or process improvement initiatives

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of the drug development processes and in-depth knowledge of GPSS processes and practices

• Knowledge of clinical research financial parameters and project financial tracking and accounting methods.        

• Strong leadership skills.        

• Effective presentation skills.  

• Knowledge and ability to apply GCP/ICH and applicable regulatory guidelines

• Effective organizational and problem-solving skills

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree and 12 yrs. relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Including 6+ years of leadership experience.
