The company was founded in 1990 and has its origin in custom synthesis of oligonucleotides, used in the fields of life science research, medical diagnostics, product quality assessment and environmental analysis. Furthermore, we produce kits for the identification of the causative agents of infective disease and support of patient management decisions. These kits range from the identification of mutations to hematological quantitative tests and pathogen detection. The latter are available as modular kits, enabling the creation of symptomatic panels by combining assays. To support customers performing human genotyping the company provides custom made LightSNiP assays for SNP analysis. TIB Molbiol is a medium-sized biotech company who has supplied the global market for over 30 years with reagents for research and medical diagnostics. It is known for innovation, product quality, design and time to market. In 2018, TIB MOLBIOL put down its first roots in South America. From the Santiago de Cali office, TIM now serve the majority of our LATAM customers.
