    Location: Bohemia, NY  

    What will you do?

  • Applies Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility

  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and diagnose & repair equipment problems related to sensors & electrical wiring.
  • Help Solve, repair, evaluate, and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities
  • Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer concerns
  • Assist with helping solve installed automated machinery issues.
  • Assist with installation and modification of all automated equipment and systems
  • Align with all Company directives and regulations as related to operations and practice safe working habits.
  • Possess proficient knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and grounds maintenance
  • Remain up to date on all required company safety training.
  • Ability to use technology such as; smart phones, tablets, computers, web-based applications, building automation systems, etc.
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
  • Works Hours: 3rd shift 11:00pm- 7:30am Sunday- Thursday; 15% shift differential

    How will you get here?

    Education:

       High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)          

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of related experience and responsibility in the maintenance field preferred
  • Familiar with the workings of a cGMP facility 
  • Minimum Requirements:

  • Familiar with the workings of a cGMP facility 
  • Experience with maintenance and/or an education in the trades
  • Strong Mechanical proficiency and knowledge of electrical and most mechanical systems.
  • Skilled at multi tasking and able to prioritize different projects
  • Strong ability to multi task in emergency situations
  • Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly
  • Ability to work in a logical, clean, and organized manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work with and liaison with various outside vendors
  • Basic digital literacy and comfortable using various software, apps and computer programs
  • The ability to lift and exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently
  • Ability to learn new tasks and accept new responsibilities!

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $35.00–$40.00.
