Job Overview

Under supervision, coordinate activities for Payroll Associates to ensure salaries are paid on time and accurately, in accordance with the corporate timetable and financial policies.

Essential Functions

• Accurately maintain the employee payroll database in compliance with IQVIA financial policies and statutory and contractual requirements.• Perform rigorous quality checks on payroll data to ensure accuracy and avoid unnecessary re-work.• Support the delivery of payroll services to the agreed timetable, as outlined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA).• Support implementation of changes to policies and procedures on issues within own area, as directed by the Manager, Payroll to ensure a consistent approach across the organization.• Assist the support operation of payroll “help desk” and resolve employee queries escalating non-standard issues to the Manager, Payroll to ensure resolution within SLA timescales.• Participate in continuous improvement activities to exceed customer expectations and promote a professional finance organization.• May coordinate activities for other payroll staff.• Perform system testing as required.• Assist the Manager, Payroll with communication activities.• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Req• Minimum 2 years’ U.S. Payroll Mandatory• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Req• Knowledge of Peoplesoft Finance modules.• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.• Attention to detail.• Accurate and efficient data entry skills.• Confidentiality.• Ability to prioritize own workloads to meet deadlines.• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and managers.• Ability to be flexible during month and year end closings.
