We are seeking an experienced Research Specialist 3 for our Insourcing Solutions site located in San Francisco, CA.

This role pays a $2000 sign on bonus with an hourly rate of $47.00 + benefits.

Provides administrative, logistical and technical support for Scientific staff conducting studies or supporting functions for operations of the laboratory. Coordinates all laboratory support, pre-study activities, method development, method validation, study activities, data and/or reporting activities. Responsible for data review for completeness, quality or QC against the applicable protocol or procedure. May be responsible for drafting client correspondence, study correspondence, reporting or direct client interaction. Interacts with other departments, scientific staff, and sponsors either locally or across sites. We are seeking a Research Technician III for our Insourcing Solutions site located in South San Francisco. The following are responsibilities related to the Research Technician III: Initiation of oncology studies: shaving and enrollment of animals on study, tumor implantation, Dosing of animals via IP, PO, IV, SC or intra-tumoral injection. Weighing animals; tumor measurement,Good recordkeeping and documentation skills, Entering and analyzing data, Organizing and performing study takedown: euthanizing animals and performing necropsy, Collecting and processing tissues and blood following required procedures; submit samples to other departments for analysis. Provide assistance on PK studies and with hybridoma blood collections and immunizations, Read assigned literature; complete training in timely fashion.

The following are minimum qualifications related to the Research Technician III position: Master’s degree or higher in related field. 5 years of laboratory environment and a general understanding of pre-clinical drug development.
