As Strategic Projects Development Manager, your role will be to identify product opportunities to better serve the unique needs of our customers in the China market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Business Units, both local and global, to identify and prioritize product portfolio strategy based on opportunities in the Chinese market
• Develop business case proposals and get buy-in from key stakeholders
• Identify potential local partnership opportunities and explore their feasibility
• Coordinate with the business development team to facilitate communication and negotiations for external partnerships, such as OEM in/out, M&A, etc.
• Work closely with local Research and Development (R&D) teams to drive the execution of projects

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Advanced degree in Life Sciences and/or business subject area. Graduate degree or MBA preferred
• 6+ years of business development, product management, or equivalent experience in the life science industry
• Understand product portfolio management and life science tools
• Strong experience building financial models and business proposals
• Solid project management skills
• Ability to influence across a sophisticated matrix organization
• Collaboration leadership and communication, negotiation skill
• Willing and able to travel internationally as needed (estimated 10-20% per annum)
• Proficient in English and Mandarin.
