Responsibilities:

• Responsible for front-end web development.
• Design and develop new user-facing applications and features.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Guides design activity to other programmers on technical aspects relating to the project.
• Active participation in various scrum ceremonies such as Story grooming, sprint planning sessions etc. and work towards identifying technical risks, alternate solutions to various problems etc.
• Work collaboratively across the Technology, UX, and Product organizations to ensure alignment towards business goals.
• Proactively looks for ways and patterns to continuously automate feature testing with measurable and tangible goals.
• Actively participate in the development community of practices in sharing and learning standard methodologies, leading initiatives within the community and involve in other organization initiatives.

Skills:

Must Have:

• 7+ years of experience with TypeScript or ES2017 JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and the DOM.
• 5+ years of experience with SPA frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.)
• Experience in writing unit tests and automation tests for UI components.
• Experience with large-scale consumer-facing production software and cloud deployment strategies.
• Experience writing Node.js scripts.
• Should be aware and practiced Agile/Iterative development methodologies.
• Authenticity, openness and leading by example, holding self and others accountable, and encouraging, motivating & collaborating with others.
• High levels of motivation and learning agility, and the ability to self-start and 'figure out what needs figuring out".
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively document artefacts and processes and then explain them to others.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in back-end development using C#.
• Experience in web components development using Stencil.js.
• Experience in API design (using RESTful), including versioning, isolation, documenting for internal and external (commercial) using API documentation frameworks (e.g. Apiary, Swagger)
• Experience with D3.js for building interactive plots and visualizations.
• A good understanding of web components and Shadow DOM.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's in engineering or master's in computer science, Information Technology, Instrumentation.
