Product Specialist III

Job Description

Main responsibilities:

• Familiar with SUT (single-use technology) products and responsible to workout solution based on specific bioproduction workflow of target users, cooperate with global and domestics team to implement product or selling strategies and hit business targets.
• Business development mindset a must. Must have hunter mind set and ability to creatively solve customer problems with flexible solutions. Lead key SUT projects or opportunities in assigned territory and coordinate resources crossing functions teams to drive positive results
• Cooperate with sales team to maintain existing key accounts relationship and move open pipelines forward based on technical aspects, including onsite customer visits, sample test follow up, onsite demo, URS response, technical presentation and solution, etc.
• Developing new opportunities to build strong pipeline of projects that will fuel future growth.
• Closely work with with global team independently to solve product or technical queries about customer application/quality/documentation demand in daily work
• Maintain and enhance technical knowledge on Thermo Fisher SUT product lines, bioprocessing applications, and competitive products.
• Develop new applications and emerging market through current products portfolio to enhance products market share and drive business growth
• Support on internal or external conference, summit, customer seminar as speakers of application topics or booth duty.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology)
• At least 3-5 years of successful bioproduction or industry related experiences (Antibody, Human and vet vaccine, Cell and gene therapy), technical support and product management experience is preferred.
• Excellent understanding of both Biopharma upstream and downstream process, specifically with Single Use Technology products is preferred.
• Self-starter, proactive work ethics, able to work independently with limited day-to-day supervision with manager.
• Positive attitude and optimistic mindset, actively and positively seek solutions and be able to maintain stability and efficiency in a constantly changing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and oral communication for both English and Chinese.
