Private National Accounts Manager

Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Private National Accounts Manager to drive sales and maximise revenue for our client’s insomnia drug portfolio within the UK market. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with key private national accounts, including pharmacies, hospitals, and healthcare providers, to ensure product penetration and market growth. This position requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, strong negotiation skills, and a proven track record of sales success. In this role you will:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets in the private market. With a focus on private psychiatry and private hospitals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the private health market including pharmacy chains, hospital networks, and healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical affairs, and market access, to develop tailored strategies and solutions for key private accounts.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to identify opportunities for growth and address any challenges or issues.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure competitive positioning and maximize profitability.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, with a proven track record of success in national private account management.
  • Extensive knowledge of the UK healthcare system, including private national accounts and reimbursement processes in psychiatry and insomnia (preferred)
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
