Clinical Supplies Specialist

As a Clinical Supplies Specialist you will be joining the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence.

What you will be doing:

  • Acts as a primary user and technical support for Global Clinical Supply Chain SmartSupplies application suite. Assist with analyzing support activity over time, and with support process improvement.
  • Supports GCSC SmartSupplies activities including configuration updates, user training, and ensuring systems compliance within Global Clinical Supply Chain and supporting system integration with key GCSC external vendors and internal systems.
  • Assist with GCSC analytics and data architecture, both in terms of maintaining as well as developing and improving. Ensures errors related to integrations between systems get resolved.
  • Assist in ensuring constant compliance in terms of GCSC processes, systems and documentation oversight. Some responsibility for owning change control activity in ServiceNow.
  • Support the user community through creation and maintenance of reference and training material on digital capabilities as well as documentation of support methodologies. Assist with and provide training to users as necessary
  • Assist with generation of reports at times, including leveraging APIs provided by different vendors to enhance the GCSC digital analytics environment(s).

You are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Pharmacy, Computer Science, Supply Chain/Logistics or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years relevant Pharmaceutical Industry related work experience.
  • Job related experience dealing with Supply Chain operations
  • Direct knowledge of SmartSupplies PMD
  • Demonstrated competency in support operations, GxP compliance, and change control
