We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant Molecular Biology for our Biologics Testing Solutions site located in Wayne, PA.

Under direct supervision, the responsibilities of this role will be specific to assisting laboratory technicians in performing routine daily tasks.

The following are responsibilities related to the Laboratory Assistant Molecular Biology:

• Performance of the following, such as preparation of media and laboratory solutions; prepare and titrate microbial and viral stocks;

prepare primers and probes; isolate and purify DNA, RNA, and/or proteins.

• Coordinate instrument maintenance; calibrate laboratory equipment; record laboratory temperature readings.

• Order, log in and restock supplies; remove laboratory waste; coordinate shipments; interact with personnel from outside

the department.

• Perform daily cleaning and monitoring of laboratories and clean rooms. Perform all other related duties as assigned.

The following are minimum requirements related to the Laboratory Assistant Molecular Biology position:

• Education: Associates Degree or High School Diploma

• Experience: Zero to one years related experience in industry/area/discipline

• Certification/Licensure: None

• Other: Knowledge of cGMP and/or regulatory affairs pertaining to the pharmaceutical and biological industries, desirable,

but not required. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to

maintain communication across biological functional groups. Able to communicate effectively (oral and written) in a small

group or one on one setting. Basic Microsoft Office skills are a plus
