Position Requirements:We are looking for an ideal candidate who thrives in a multi-disciplinary technical environment and is passionate about addressing technical problems within diverse organizations. The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Handling tasks and projects in the Technical Support department to improve efficiency.

  • Providing technical communication between Production, R&D, and Global Tech Support.

  • Conducting "root cause" analysis and actively participating in resolving technical issues.

  • Collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to solve problems and improve the company's inner processes.

  • Providing worldwide 3rd-line technical support up to the system level of SEM/SDB products, especially systems released after 2002.

  • Leading continuous improvement processes and postmortem analysis for solved support calls.

  • Bringing together parts issues and collecting Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) requests for all types of microscopes and their modules.

  • Looking for opportunities to lower installation and warranty costs based on collected data and analyses.

  • Leading assigned Global Technical Support tasks, such as Practical Process Improvement, Service Documentation requests, Corrective Action / Preventive Action, etc.

  • Seeking opportunities to improve product quality.

  • Following effective documents Coordinated Management System, Environmental Management System, and working on documentation.

Qualifications:

  • At least a bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanics, or a combination of both education and meaningful work experience.

  • Very Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficient in English and Czech language, both written and spoken, at a minimum of level B2.

  • Ability to travel internationally for less than 25% of working hours.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team.

  • Experience in project management.

  • Knowledge and experience in Product Data Management is an advantage.
