SummaryThermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Email Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing operations team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in email marketing, possess skills in marketing automation, and demonstrate a technical understanding of using data, automated journeys, and triggers to build engaging customer journeys. Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy, quality, and brand consistency of all marketing materials.
• Create and/or support creation of marketing materials using internal systems & processes.
• Lead all aspects of email campaign operations, including scheduling, list management, segmentation, and deployment.
• Implement and maintain email marketing standard methodologies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and privacy policies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues related to email delivery, ensuring high deliverability rates and minimizing spam complaints.
• Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure accurate rendering of email templates across various email clients and devices.
• Optimize email templates and workflows for efficiency, scalability, and performance improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest email marketing trends, technologies, and industry standards to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain email marketing software and tools, ensuring accurate tracking, data integrity, and efficient workflows.
• Provide training and support to internal customers on email marketing standard methodologies and tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in email marketing operations, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Must be meticulous with the ability to identify, resolve, and catch problems before items are deployed.
• Proficiency in email marketing platforms (Oracle Eloqua preferred) and marketing automation tools (Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) preferred).
• Proven understanding of email marketing standard processes, deliverability, list management, and segmentation strategies.
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS for email template customization is preferred.
• Understanding of GDPR and CAN-SPAM Act regulations.
• Excellent project management skills (Workfront knowledge preferred), with the ability to manage request queues, prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Continuous learning demeanor, staying updated with emerging email marketing technologies and trends.
• Flexible to overlap work hours to a certain duration in PST time zone.
