The Vice President & Corporate Controlleris a key leadership position within Finance and Parexel Informatics, a dynamic and global biopharmaceutical services company. S/he will be leading a critical finance function that is responsible for providing leadership and management of the Company’s corporate financial close, corporate accounting policies and controls framework, external financial reporting, and technical accounting research/analysis/implementation.
As a member of the Finance Leadership Team and a direct report of the CFO s/he has leadership accountability for the finance functions responsible for financial close, financial consolidation and statutory accounting. As an organizational leader s/he is responsible for team and individual development. S/he will inspire, motivate, and promote a results-oriented focus in others and earn the confidence and credibility to partner with his/her team, senior leaders, external auditors and other stake holders.
The Controller will maintain a focus on continuous improvement including the maintenance and updating of accounting/finance policies, procedures and processes essential to success in this position. S/he will also be measured on his/her ability to ensure that the accounting function adapts to the Company’s shifting business model and strategies

Minimum Work Experience 12-15 years of progressive, broad-based accounting and controllership experience in a large, multinational organization 5-10 years of management and leadership experience at the director and/or executive levels developing and leading an accounting function in a rapid growth and changing business environment Experience within a commercial-stage life sciences/biotech organization is strongly preferred Public accounting experience is preferred Experience with either Oracle or Workday is necessary; experience with both is a plus
Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration Certified Public Accountant is required Master’s Degree in accounting or MBA preferred EEO DisclaimerParexel is an equal opportunity employer.
