Job Description
This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the field service support team, customer relationship management and providing statistical analysis to the customer. The Site Supervisor will also coordinate resources and work with the Service Team to deliver technical expertise to customers with high-quality results to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Supervise a team of 8-20 members of multi-units in the region in a manner that is consistent with our organizational culture, and Company 4i values
Participate in the candidate selection process, train, and evaluate staff’s performance.
Ensure customer needs are met and high-quality service is delivered through a variety of means, including staff communications and performance management as well as metrics reporting.
Handle all site operations and duties for optimal outcomes to maintain standards of excellence.
Operate across a wide variety of services such as Dock Management, Order Management, Inventory Management, Chemical Management, Glassware Washing and Media Prep
Perform Quality and Safety Audits while on site to ensure Regulatory, Finance and Safety standards are maintained.
Conduct operational assessments while on site and provide recommendations on operational improvement opportunities.
Partner with Site Implementations ensuring new engagements successfully meet contract obligations. Providing additional training to site personnel when and if needed.
Promote personal growth and development by staying abreast of new policies and enhancements in the absence of site trainer and management team.
Listen to and resolve customer concerns, highlight red flags, and quickly identify a course of action with a goal of first-call resolution within established turnaround times.
Attend required training sessions.
Positively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at all times throughout customer locations.
Participate in projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Education:
High School Diploma Required.
Bachelors degree in a related field preferred, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required skills.
Experience:
Must have a combination of 3+ years of progressive relevant experience in supply chain and people management
Knowledge of ULSIM and/or Mainframe or similar inventory tracking system, preferred
Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:
Proficient user of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must possess a strong desire to serve the customer with the interpersonal and communication skills to look after various levels of personnel at the customer site.
Must deliver excellent customer service including maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
Must possess the organization skills to multitask and meet deadlines as needed.
Has the ability to lead, coach and empower a group of employees
Analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to make sound and timely decisions in a fast-paced, changing work environment.
Working Conditions:
Will be working in and around laboratory environments
May pass through areas where chemical-based allergens may be in use
Will be required to work Monday through Friday, primarily at customer locations.
Be able to lift, push and pull 30-40 pounds consistently; may be required to lift 50 pounds
