この研究では、ポイント オブ ケアの電子健康記録ベースの臨床意思決定支援システム (The Cardiovascular Wizard) を採用して、プライマリ ケア提供者が深刻な精神疾患 (双極性障害、統合失調症、統合失調感情障害)。 心血管ウィザードは、深刻な精神疾患を持つ人々の心血管疾患と死亡率のリスクの増加についてプライマリケア提供者を教育し、深刻な精神疾患を持つ患者の心血管リスク要因の上昇を特定し、重篤な精神疾患患者の心血管リスク要因の上昇を特定するように設計されています。心血管リスク因子に適切に対処した場合に患者が経験する心血管リスクの改善に基づいて、これらの心血管リスクに優先順位を付け、上昇した心血管リスク因子をそれぞれ減少させるために特定の投薬やその他の介入を推奨し、この情報を理解しやすい形で提供する重度の精神疾患を持つ患者とそのプライマリケア提供者の両方のためのフォーマット。

実験的:優先順位付けされた臨床意思決定支援
研究の介入群に無作為に割り付けられた診療所で治療を受けている患者とその主治医は、治療中の電子健康記録ベースのアラートによって促され、心血管リスクを軽減できる優先治療とライフスタイルの変更に関する患者固有の書面によるアドバイスを提示されました。彼らのプライマリケア訪問。
