Kryteria przyjęcia:
- Potwierdzone rozpoznanie nawrotowej/opornej AML (zdefiniowanej jako >=5% blastów w szpiku na podstawie morfologii), w tym MDS, z utrzymującymi się wzrastającymi blastami i brakiem dostępnej innej porównywalnej lub zadowalającej terapii alternatywnej. Jeśli szpik kostny ma <5% blastów na podstawie morfologii, ale pacjent ma dowody nawrotu z progresją choroby pozaszpikowej. W wybranych przypadkach z konwersją MRD z ujemnej na dodatnią, można zezwolić na leczenie GO, jeśli nie są możliwe alternatywne metody leczenia.

- Potwierdzone rozpoznanie nawrotowej lub opornej na leczenie APL z utrzymującym się lub narastającym obciążeniem białaczką (na podstawie morfologii, analizy cytogenetycznej lub technik molekularnych) i brak dostępnej innej porównywalnej lub zadowalającej terapii alternatywnej.
Dokumentacja, że komórki złośliwe wykazują ekspresję CD33

Kryteria wyłączenia:
- Nieleczona AML i MDS lub AML i MDS w całkowitej remisji.
- Pacjenci ze znaną historią VOD/SOS.
- Pacjenci ze znaną nadwrażliwością na Mylotarg lub jego części: przeciwciało hP67.6, pochodne kalicheamycyny lub inne składniki.
- Uczestnictwo w innych badaniach z udziałem badanego leku (fazy 1-4) podczas udziału w badaniu.
