Principal Data Governance Analyst – Polices & Procedures

Job Introduction:

At Parexel, we are a leading Clinical Research Organization company specializing in delivering life-changing medicines to patients. We are seeking a Principal Data Governance Analyst – Policies & Procedures. As a Principal Data Governance Analyst, you will be responsible for the management and direction of global policies, procedures and processes involving the effective governance of data.

Who we are looking for:

Detail oriented individuals with proven experience working as a Data Governance Analyst – Policies & Procedures or in a similar role. Who are passionate and knowledgeable of the governance of data, data collection, consumption, applicable laws, policies, and best practices. That possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills while demonstrating impeccable communication skills.

What you’ll do:

• Maintain a deep understanding of the data related policies and procedures used across the organization and ensure their regular review and update for appropriate organizational, environmental, industry, legal and technology changes and provide guidance on how Parexel needs to adapt
• Identify any conflicts of policy vs practice, raising awareness to the business for resolution, either through policy or process adjustments and escalate to leadership as necessary
• Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships to ensure a deep understanding of enterprise and functional strategies, roadmaps and project pipeline and their associated data requirements
• Champion the data governance systems, processes, policies, and procedures including hosting and/or supporting trainings, providing on-demand support, and uncovering opportunities to drive increased engagement

Additional details:Deep understanding of the clinical research (CRO), life sciences and/or Pharma industry data needs is required. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Word. Excellent verbal & written communication skills as well as presentation skills. Advanced degrees in computer science, business, pharmaceuticals, life sciences or a relevant field is preferable.
