Open Position Description
The candidate will join our Real-World Solutions team and will be involved in the development and delivery of Health Economics (HE) studies and analyses.
Responsibilities
- Engagement of clients around HE topics towards annual team objectives
- Coordinate projects activities, managing timelines and projects’ quality while ensuring projects are delivered on budget
- Lead autonomously the delivery of projects leveraging IQVIA proprietary as well as third-party data, with focus on HE applications
- Manage clients’ communication
- Manage a small team of direct reports organizing the work of junior team members and ensuring quality controls on projects
- Writing of proposals and participation in bid defense meetings
- Communicate results through scientific publications and posters
- Support performance evaluation and competency development of junior resources
Requirements
- MSc degree in a scientific discipline, advanced degrees (PhD) in Economics, Health Economics, Statistics or Biostatistics with strong record of academic achievement is preferred
- At least 6-year work experience in the HEOR field
- Experience working with pharmaco-economic models (e.g. budget impact models and cost-effectiveness analyses)
- Technical expertise to devise the best modelling options and best practices, for different applications (e.g. value dossiers, observational studies, health value-based initiatives)
- Complete understanding of the HEOR methods, drug life cycle and Italian health care system
- Strong business skills/acumen; translation of scientific expertise and knowledge to achieve the identified business goals of the company
- Good knowledge of statistical software (SAS, Stata, R etc.) with HEOR applications
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills: strong skills in working with Excel and Power Point
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written
- Proficiency in Italian, both oral and written
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines
- Affinity for a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
