How will you make an impact?TheDigital Leadership Development Program (DLDP) is designed as a unique opportunity for high-potential recent graduates to develop the technical and professional foundation to accelerate their careers as a future Digital or IT Leader. The DLDP experience is managed by a dedicated Program Manager,supported by the company IT and Digital leadership team, and offers impactful opportunities for growth.

What will you do?

Program participants will develop technical skills, gain leadership experience through stretch assignments, and create a network across the organization to accelerate career development within Thermo Fisher Scientific’s technology organizationParticipants will have four 6-month assignments during the two-year program at two different sites across the US. Geographic flexibility is required both during and after the completion of the program.Typical assignment sites are: Carlsbad, CA; Pittsburgh, PA; Frederick, MD. Relocation assistance is provided. Rotations are determined through a combination of business priorities, participant interests, and areas of development.

Additional learning opportunities support the accelerated nature of the program and will include: LDP learning sessions; a dedicated assignment manager;a formal mentor; exposure to senior leadership; and a network of Leadership Development Program alumni across the organization.Upon program completion, the Program Manager will partner with participants to align on post-program interests and participants will interview for IT and Digital roles where functional competencies will continue to be developed.

Please Note: TheDLDP is set to begin July 15, 2024 and individuals are responsible forfinalizing housing and transportation prior to program commencement and across each rotation throughout the two (2) year program.

  • Business Intelligence

  • eBusiness

  • AI/ML

  • Immersive Technology

  • Enterprise Applications 

  • Global Infrastructure

  • Data Science

  • Data Engineering

  • IT Project Management

How will you get here?

  • Student completing a Bachelor's degreebetween December 2023 and June 2024.Preferred majors: Management Information Systems, Computer Science, IT, Information Security, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineer/Programming, or similar.

  • 1+ years of related experience preferred.

  • Strong desire and motivation to develop a career as a future leader in Technology.

  • Ability to lead, plan, and prioritize projects.

  • Experience in data collection and analysis.

  • Proven leadership aptitude, learning agility, and resourcefulness.

  • Understanding of existing andnew technologies.

  • Geographic flexibility is required both during and upon completion of the program.

  • Excellentinterpersonal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence and strong executive presence.

To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require sponsorship (current or future) for employment visa status.
