Lead a team of Service Technicians to provide customers (internal and external) technical service in repair, trouble shoot and training for Endosafe and Celsis Brand products.  Coordinate efforts with peers and Field Service Manager to meet customer and company needs.  Develop and train team members on areas of need and improvement based on reviews and job performance.

The following are the job duties & responsibilities related to the Field Supervisor: 

•    Lead team to meet customer needs (internal and external)

•    Annual reviews of team and on-going development to ensure growth and retention

•    Identify development opportunities for team and help implement and complete career growth as you and team members agree on

•    Coordinate customer-facing technical repair and maintenance services for endotoxin, rapid bioburden and microbial detection laboratory instruments on site at customer locations.  

•    Ensure team schedules and performs on-site service visits within assigned regions for product installations, annual qualification, routine preventive maintenance and analysis of product performance.

•    Provide technical assistance and problem resolution to customers via telephone, email, or on-site communication to team or customers.

•    Complete all required field service activities and documentation as assigned based on specific product, customer and/or standard operating procedural requirements.

•    Participate in identifying and developing service contract sales opportunities through up-selling; promoting the customers’ conversion from billable to contract coverage.

•    Assisting field sales personnel in product demonstrations, new customer training, and product validations.

•    Responsible for completing all service and compliance documentation as required by company policy, cGMP and FDA.

•    Maintain and improve Field Service training matrix and SOPs.

•    Responsible for resolving client testing laboratory instrument service issues.

•    Collaborate with Training Coordinator for training of new personnel and existing personnel on new technologies.

•    Monitor Field Service metrics. Take appropriate corrective actions when not meeting defined metrics.

•    Work with techs to monitor and maintain appropriate trunk stock levels.

•    Perform all other related duties as assigned.

  Job Qualifications The following are the minimum qualifications related to the Field Service Supervisor: 

•    Education:  Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.Sc.) or equivalent in Engineering or Life Sciences; Microbiology, Biology or Chemistry

•    Experience:  3+ years of related experience (technical, laboratory or research); or 

Equivalent combination of education and experience.
