How will you make an impact?

In this role, you will lead and manage one of the Marketing Campaign Specialist teams. This teams’ core role is to help internal business clients transform strategy and deliver regionally relevant inspiring marketing campaigns that create customer value, revenue and growth.

The team shapes and delivers the prioritised marketing campaigns, whilst improving on campaign effectiveness and Return On Investment (value). This is achieved through planning, building, and implementing integrated customer journeys, crafting the right message and selecting the right channel mix.

As a key member of the marketing operations leadership team you will shape the strategic evolution and continuous improvement initiatives that drive us closer to our vision to build a trusted and collaborative partnership to EMEA life science businesses that:

What will you do?

  • Lead, manage and develop the team to deliver the highest quality service and marketing expertise for all clients, customers and partners
  • Lead all aspects of and drive the campaign management process and the team’s partnership with campaign owners to understand business priorities
  • Enable the team to set campaign objectives and critical metrics to develop and deliver marketing that drives demand and goes above and beyond to engage our customers.
  • Deliver on objectives and expectations for all campaigns through determination of appropriate channel mix, seamless implementation of campaigns, tactics and optimal utilisation of marketing channels.
  • Drive marketing excellence, continuous improvement and new channel adoption using process excellence and clearly communicated performance metrics
  • Govern internal marketing systems and be the voice of the region for all globally managed marketing project management systems (Unica Campaign, Production tool, Workfront)
  • Lead all aspects of internal production Service Level Agreements (SLAs), vendor contracting & costs in close collaboration with business partners
  • Ensure the team budget is accurately forecast and meets that forecast (+/- 5%)

Nature and Scope

This position interacts with internal and external partners requiring you to clearly and confidently communicate verbally, during presentations, and in writing across multiple levels of the organisation and with external partners.

It should be second nature to drive customer engagement across all marketing channels and ensure customer journey optimisation. It also requires you to build extensive networks and strong relationships to align on the strategy and delivery of the businesses regional plans. To facilitate and solidify those relationships, this position may occasionally require some travel.

Education & Experience:

This role is for an experienced team leader, who works independently with solid and proven experience and expertise iMarketing Campaigns. The Marketing Campaign Specialist Manager needs to be a positive problem solver that drives process excellence to deliver marketing campaigns that engage and delight customers. This role requires strong team leadership, management and motivation skills and the ability to build partnerships across their network. This person should also be fluent in spoken and written English and should ideally have operated previously in large complex matrixed organisations being able to communicate complexity to many different audiences.
