Account Executive Opportunities

  • Our Account Executive is a self-starter who enjoys building new relationships. In this customer facing role you will directly impact our mission by providing our Clinical Trial services to the biotech and biopharma customers in your designated territory.

Business Development Opportunities

  • Our Business Development Executive (BDE) will convey the value and focus on representing and winning new Development and Commercial Manufacturing Services business at Patheon, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific. This is a dynamic role is responsible for revenue growth through the development and implementation of strategies that generate sales.

A day in the Life:

  • Identify new molecule opportunities with new and existing clients
  • Present our value proposition, key differentiators from our competition and areas for strategic bundling of our services across our business unit.
  • Bring value by using consultative selling skills combined with clinical trial industry knowledge to deliver differentiated services for our customers
  • Collaborate effectively with global internal and external partners to deliver sales results: Commercial Solutions, Client Services, Finance, Legal,
  • Achieve/surpass all assigned sales targets and quotas by proactively leading a territory plan development with appropriate funnel activity.
  • Use Developed Tool Box and internal stake holders to support scoping activities for active proposal/quote process. (RFQ template)
  • Engage and deliver qualitative review of the quote/services to support the customer requirements for the clinical trial success, to include assembling Subject Matter Experts and leadership
  • Lead, update, maintain and record all relevant activities in the CRM database, and share information and background on prospective clients within the territory to our stakeholders.

Keys to Success:

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a science related field and/or equivalent industry experience.

Experience
  • A minimum of 6 years' experience, successful track record of direct sales experience in relevant industry, working experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
  • CDMO/CRO manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Established contacts in major pharmaceutical organizations within your given territory.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to network within senior management ranks.
  • Dynamic and highly self-motivated individual
  • Proficient at leading Salesforce, Outlook, Teams, Zymewire and other sales tools.
  • Ability to travel within the defined territory, attend trade shows, team meetings etc. and work remotely from a home office.
  • Territories could be across North America or Europe.
