Position Summary:

The position will investigate our application inventory, document system relationships, and map servers to applications. They will also support the sponsor payment integration process, participate in the implementation of patches, and system upgrades.

Job Responsibilities:

vGathers and documents current systems, key partners, and relationships of current application inventory by working with Management, users, and technical resources.

vApplies knowledge of computer hardware and software, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to implement sponsor payment integrations, patches, and upgrades.

vAssists with the correction of program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

Qualifications

What We are Looking For:

Education:

vBA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience.

Experience / Knowledge:

vRequired: Candidate/incumbent currently in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in computer science.

vRequired: Able to develop system and network diagrams.

vRequired: Experience with object-oriented programming and design.

vPreferred: Knowledge of PL/SQL and stored procedures.

vPreferred: Experience in cloud architecture.

vPreferred: Knowledge of LINUX file management and shell scripting.

vPreferred: Familiarity agile development practices like SCRUM.

Skills:

vExcellent verbal and written communication skills.

vExcellent customer service skills.

vExcellent problem analysis and problem resolution skills.

vAbility to learn new technologies quickly.
