We are seeking a Technician 1 Facilities for our Biologics Testing Solutions site located in Malvern, PA.

Under direct supervision, the position will perform general site maintenance duties and assist trades and crafts persons.

May operate machinery and equipment and use basic tools to fulfill assigned tasks.

The following are responsibilities related to the Technician 1 Facilities:

• Perform basic building maintenance duties such as moving furniture and equipment, painting, removing and installing light bulbs, electrical cover plates,

HVAC box covers and various wall, ceiling, and floor fasteners.

• Perform preventative maintenance on incubators, freezers, refrigerators, heating unit, vacuum pumps, and air conditioning units. May also perform

corrective action and fabricate items as needed. Identify hazards, malfunctioning equipment or safety issues and notify appropriate

personnel for corrective action.

• Assist trades personnel in performing unskilled duties and repairs. Receive and distribute deliveries including supplies and equipment.

• Perform general laborer duties as required. May perform janitorial duties on a non-schedule basis.

The following are minimum requirements related to the Technician 1 Facilities position:

• Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) preferred.

• Experience: 6 to 12 months related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute

for the specific education and experience listed above.

• Certification/Licensure: None

• Other: None.
