CRM SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR – JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Manage new CRM implementations for Contract Sales and HMS field teams
    • Provide subject-matter expertise in collaboration with third-party vendor during initial Veeva org build
    • Coordinate requirements with sales and/or payer data providers
    • Provide guidance on data models to customers/external third-party vendors to prepare files for import
    • Configure and set up team hierarchy, territory alignments, target accounts, call reports, closed-loop marketing/digital media, cycle plans, surveys, sample product catalog
    • Assist in designing scenarios for user acceptance testing (UAT) and system validation (sample teams)
    • Prepare User Requirements Specification document (URS) to document new system functionality
  • Maintain ongoing CRM instances post-deployment
    • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly data imports and exports
    • Responsible for data loading, testing, migration, and quality control
    • Automate processing of incoming and outgoing data extracts
    • Manage release process, associated with new Veeva and Salesforce.com enhancements, for assigned Veeva orgs
  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions with project lead and customers for ongoing system change requests (SCRs)
    • Evaluate business process implications of SCRs and assesses possible redesign recommendations.
    • Provide input on SCR timeline, scope, costs, and delivery date
    • Highlight critical dependencies, system implications, and issues/risks to project team
  • Negotiate, plan, and manage new requirements that involve Veeva Managed Services expertise to configure and deploy
  • Key contributor to the Veeva configuration and development standards documentation and scheduled sandbox refresh.
  • Ensure that work is conducted in compliance with standard processes, policies/procedures, and service levels
  • Prepare and present Veeva project information and lessons learned at internal and external meetings
  • May be assigned responsibility for sub-projects or specific components of the project or program
  • May participate in proposal development and sales/proposal presentations
  • Coordinate with other project resources within and outside the organization
  • Provide input into project proposals and RFPs
  • Serve as a backup contact for internal project managers
  • Identify and negotiate out of scope project work
  • Meet with team members on a regular basis regarding assigned Veeva tasks and deliverables to ensure milestones are met
  • Partner with other Project Managers to develop and implement system and process improvements
