IT Project Coordinator

IQVIA is looking for a responsible IT Project Coordinator with a passion for technology to administer all types of IT projects, from simple activities to more complex plans. The IT Project Coordinator responsibilities include working closely with the IT teams to prepare action plans, assign resources and manage timelines; coordinating and tracking project tasks and maintaining project documentation; and collaborating with our internal stakeholders and IT teams to deliver project objectives. The IT Project Coordinator will complete all projects on time with a high-quality standard. Candidates must have excellent time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate IT project management activities making sure projects are delivered on time.
  • Work with the IT project team and stakeholders to define requirements, scope and objectives
  • Work on multiple IT project and administrative activities at any one time.
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and manage the schedules.
  • Perform risk management duties.
  • Oversee project procurement.
  • Monitor project progress and provide reports using Microsoft Office including PowerPoint.
  • Serve as point of contact for the project.
  • Work with the Line Manager(s) to eliminate blockers.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, plans and status reports.
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 4+ years proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role working on IT Infrastructure projects is essential.
  • Experience working within an IT infrastructure and/or IT network team environment.
  • Vmware, NetApp, Cisco, and or Cloud-based project experience would be a plus.
  • PMP / PRINCE2 / ITIL certification would be a plus.
  • Experience in preparing and managing projects using Microsoft Project.
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with risk management.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g. Clarizen, Basecamp etc.).
