Senior Accountant, Intercompany Subject Matter Expert

PURPOSE

You will be part of a new finance center supporting IQVIA’s research and commercial services across Europe. Our team is currently growing further to support more countries and business actives. You can be part of this growth.
At this role you will be key subject matter expert for intercompany activities supporting country accounting teams in their intercompany recharge activities. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full responsibility for globally consolidated intercompany processes as intercompany interest and ICO matching reporting
• Act as SME for accountants booking ICO recharges
• Manage the global intercompany netting process
• Ensure operational compliance with local and group policies and internal control framework  
• Serve as overseer of ICO balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline for accuracy
• Cooperate with IT on ICO setup in accounting system
• Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Strong communication skills – effective verbal and written communication skills in both English and relevant local language(s).
• Attention to detail and a high degree of intellectual curiosity.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and business partners.
• Ability to lead, influence and motivate others.
• Good time management skills
• Strong customer service focus, with a drive to ensure that we exceed the expectations of our customers.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 
• CPA or Chartered Accountant or ACCA certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (in a multi-national company preferred).
• Strong background in ICO accounting within an international company
