Role & Responsibilities

Our Launch (B&CS) team is growing, to support this growth we are looking for a Manager to join our US team.

Our Launch (B&CS) team helps our clients plan for the most critical events facing their organizations, especially product launches and global changes to commercial operations, and we partner with them through to successful implementation. Our market-based colleagues across 100 countries, therapy and commercial expertise, and rich data enable us to help clients take advantage of more precise and actionable recommendations leveraging insights from over 5,000 launches and 250 years of collective pharma reorganization experience. Our performance management offerings eliminate blind spots and give our clients 20/20 vision for steering their portfolios and organizations towards success.

Working closely with senior leaders you will be responsible for managing small teams in the design, development and delivery of medium sized Brand & Commercial Strategy projects.

  • Planning, organizing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives.
  • Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis to assist in the identification of client issues and development of client deliverables.
  • Planning and facilitating client workshops
  • Actively participating in recruitment, and learning & development initiatives
  • Designing, structuring and delivering client reports and presentations.
  • Developing client relationships through face-to-face and remote interactions.
  • Identifying new leads and opportunities for follow-on work.
  • Supporting development of proposals.
  • Supporting the development of intellectual property for use on future engagements.
  • Developing broader and deeper knowledge of consulting methodologies and pharmaceutical market through on the job experience and training.
  • Actively participating in recruitment, and learning & development initiatives
  • Coaching project team members and supporting them to fulfil their personal objectives.
  • Coaching junior staff (not just in projects).

About You

Experience

  • Extensive Consulting experience within life-sciences and a particular focus on Launch activities (i.e.  Launch strategy, go-to-market strategy, brand strategy, performance management, patient journey and Commercial Optimisation/ Innovation etc.)
  • A track record of successful team work, developing and leading people.
  • Experience managing small to medium sized regional/global projects, setting and meeting deadlines as well as managing the client’s expectations.
  • The natural ability to develop credible relationships with senior level managers and executives in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
  • An exceptional consulting background and an understanding of deep technical consulting methodologies, tools and techniques.
  • Extensive experience of developing, producing and delivering presentations, chairing meetings, workshop facilitation, report writing and contributing to business development through identification of leads and development of proposals.

  • Core skills in using consulting methodologies, tools and techniques.

Qualifying Requirements

  • Strong academic track record including minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a relevant graduate qualification.
  • Evidence of ongoing career progression.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • A willingness and ability to travel.
