Associate Account Director

The Role

As Account Director, you will be responsible for managing the ITS relationship with global clients. Working with fellow IQVIA’ns you will both support the broader IQVIA offer and represent ITS independently.

The role is key to driving ITS revenue streams by presenting innovative, effective and compelling solutions to our client’s language challenges.

The primary goals are to win new and retain existing clients by presenting industry-leading language solutions and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You should look to identify new profitable revenue opportunities in consultation with IQVIA account teams to deliver enterprise-level programmes that both add to the overall IQVIA reputation and position ITS as the client’s chosen strategic language vendor.

Your Responsibilities will include:

• Drive ITS revenue in line with business plans.
• Build and develop strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside IQVIA.
• Broaden and deepen relationships across our clients and develop essential strategic alliances across their enterprise.
• Develop and execute account management plans for all clients in consultation with account teams.
• Set account strategies consistent with IQVIA and ITS strategic objectives.
• Work with account teams across IQVIA to maximise opportunity from each client.
• Work closely with ITS operations teams to deliver outstanding service to our clients.
• Assess and anticipate business risks that may affect ITS revenue with any client and develop plans and strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Develop and deliver outstanding, persuasive and successful client proposals.
• Promote ITS within IQVIA, positively influencing account teams across the enterprise.
• Maintain an accurate and effective database of clients and prospects to ensure that contacts are managed productively.
• In consultation with ITS operations and technology teams design exceptional solutions that position ITS as faster, more accurate, better value and more secure than our competitors.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the Language Services industry.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a client facing role.
• Deep knowledge of language services including latest trends.
• Outstanding written/verbal communication skills.
• Highly numerate.
• Outstanding presentation skills both to individuals and groups
• Fluency in English is essential, an additional language would be a strong asset
• Degree in Linguistics, Translation or Localisation related subject would be preferred but is not essential
• Good personal and negation skills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines; manage competing priorities and changing demands.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• First class organisational skills.
• A high level of business awareness.
