JOB OVERVIEW
• Maximize sales growth in a specified geographical territory, consistent with Company strategy and objectives
• This is achieved by educating and informing physicians and/or hospital staff on the features and benefits the customer’s product(s) versus competitor products in order to increase prescriptions and/or use by the healthcare professionals
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Act as at product champion for at least 1 product
• Within a specific geographical territory, identify target customers while maintaining and analyzing customer records and produce an annual territory business plan
• Manage objections and/or issues raised through thoughtful engagement with target audience(s)
• Maintain an up-to-date sales/ technical knowledge of specialty and disease areas and relevant publications
• Effectively utilize the relevant software (e.g. CRM systems) to maintain records updated and to report daily calls
• Ensure the reporting of any identified Adverse Events in line with prevailing process and guidelines.
• Project a professional impression of the Company and act in accordance with the relevant Pharmaceutical Industry’s Code of Practice
• Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Good understanding of Pharma Market and related procedures
• Network of relationships with health representatives in the requested specialty segment
• Knowledge of and experience with the selling process
• Flexibility to learn new products over time
• Initiative and execution-oriented
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills including good command of English language
• Ability to apply technical/scientific knowledge
• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage own workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science or related field
• 3- 5 years of Pharma Sales experience required
• Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives
• Demonstrated success in prior roles
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Require frequent travel to the hospitals
