Responsibilities:
• Assist clients in establishing or evolving their cloud strategy and cloud operating model.
• Understand customer functional and non-functional requirements, document solution requirements, translate those requirements into technical specifications and work plans, and provide technical leadership around those work plans.
• Render data management, integration and analytical solutions through architectural patterns that operate at large scale and high performance, and provide recommendations on the appropriate cloud services to optimize cost.
• Advise internal consultants and customers on how to build and run HIPAA-compliant solutions based on those architectural patterns.
• Work with client teams to understand their current state architecture and contributing data sources, technologies, interfaces, performance issues and system configurations.
• Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.
• Design data models, data flows, and integrations patterns necessary to build a robust and optimized cloud based healthcare data warehouse.
• Identify and develop new Azure based services and solutions to bring to the healthcare market.
• Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions optimized for Azure.
• Develop templates/scripts to automate the deployment of Azure services.
• Drive adoption of Azure DevOps Services.
• Producing thought leadership including relevant blogs, whitepapers and webinars.

Qualifications (Minimum Required):
• 7+ years of experience directly involved in building data warehouse and data integration solutions, preferably on cloud
• 5+ years of experience (recent) with Azure data services including Azure SQL, DataBricks, and Azure Data Factory
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare industry
• Superior communication skills, will represent IQVIA Healthcare in all things Azure, internally, directly clients, and in the market as a whole
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification or combination of Azure associate-level certifications
• Broad experience across all major aspects of an overall Data Warehousing program including Data Acquisition, Data Curation and Data Syndication, and knowledge of the Microsoft Platform tooling potentially involved
• Prior consulting experience including supporting multiple projects, performing self-directed work, and collaborating with onsite and virtual teams
• Demonstrated business process improvement skills and strong technical problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field
