We are seeking a Scientist 2for ourDiscoverysite located Worcester, MA

The successful candidate for this position will have a strong background in large molecule bioanalysis utilizing LC-MSMS. Assays are often developed for early stage discovery and the ability to develop novel approaches is essential, thus requiring a solid understanding of the analytical methodology for siRNA, ASOs, proteins, antibodies and complex modalities. Within our non-GLP bioanalysis group the Scientist will be responsible for scientifically-sound planning and execution of experiments for quantitative analysis of large molecules in a timely manner. The position requires a commitment to the delivery of quality data, client interactions, independent hands-on method development and sample analysis as well as mentoring of junior staff.

The following are minimum qualifications related to theScientist 2position:

Education: Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) with emphasis in Biochemistry or an equivalent scientific related discipline. Related Master's degree (M.S./M.A.) or Ph.D. preferred.

Experience: at least 5 years previous directly related laboratory experience in large molecule bioanalysis by LCMSMS with emphasis on siRNA, ASOs, proteins, antibodies and complex modalities.

Other: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a team environment. Able to prioritize work and meet deadlines under minimal direction. Adept in use of standard software including Microsoft® Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. and with standard laboratory calculations. Proficiency in the use of analytical instrumentation with the ability to develop complex assays to meet the expectations of the bio-pharmaceutical clients.
